Thanks to the accuracy and automation of this machine, teams have consistently reported significant savings in the usage of nitrogen. There is no waste as there would be with manual methods; the machine uses only as much nitrogen as needed to complete the purge and inflate cycles, and finish with tires inflated to your set pressure.
Just think about the cost and time savings from using less than half the cylinders of nitrogen at a race!
This is truly a “set it and forget it” machine. Hook up 4 hoses at a time, choose the desired inflation pressure, press Start and walk away. The machine does all the work and is accurate to the tenth of a pound of pressure in under 10 minutes.
Thanks to the automation of this machine, your tire techs can do other work rather than sit and manually inflate and deflate each tire.
The machine is enclosed in a virtually indestructible case with wheels and multiple handles, making it easy to store during transportation to/from a race. All hoses have quick connects where they attach to the unit, and the hoses can be stored inside the case during transportation.
We only use the highest quality components on this machine, and the chucks are no exception. The LockNFlate chucks have a spring loaded collar that literally locks onto the valve stem, ensuring a good fit that will not pop off.
Industrial nitrogen cylinders are “supposed” to be moisture-free, but experience at the track has proven otherwise. That’s why we added a maintainable desiccant dryer to the machine. Because using dry, high-purity nitrogen is critical to your tire and race performance!
Selected teams that rely on NIflate99 equipment, many of whom have purchased multiple machines. “The proof is in the pudding!”
The training time to learn to use this machine is literally about 8 minutes. The instructions are printed directly on the face of the unit. Here are the basic steps:
That’s it. The machine will purge and inflate a default of 2 cycles and beep when it is complete. The number of purge cycles can be configured from 1 to 5. You can also use the machine in top-off mode, which simply inflates or deflates tires as necessary to obtain the desired pressure. No purge cycles occur in this mode.
Typically, with the machine set to 2 purge cycles, 4 tires can be fully processed within 8-10 minutes. Once the start button is pushed, the machine does all the work, hands-free.
Very little day-to-day maintenance is required. There are no filters to change or adjustments to make. Occasionally the desiccant in the dryer may need to be changed or recharged; there is a visible indicator on the dryer to indicate when this is necessary. In most cases it will be a year or more between desiccant servicing.
The LockNFlate chucks may need some cleaning and lubricating from time to time. This is a simple process of spraying a cleaner and lubricant on the collar slide mechanism and o-ring.
After many years of use, it is recommended to re-calibrate the electronics. We offer a service where you can send us the machine and we will refurbish and recalibrate the electronics. This is best done in the off-season, if possible.
No! Nitrogen generators are massive, unreliable, maintenance hogs, slow and output poor quality nitrogen in a racing environment. That’s why we use cylinders of 99.9% pure nitrogen; the same nitrogen you are probably already using, with the added benefit of a dryer built into the machine.
Of course. We have ongoing, close relationships with the teams that use our equipment. Most teams have purchased more than one machine, which is a testament to our equipment and its benefits to racing. Simply contact us by email or phone and we will be more than happy to provide names of people to contact.
Or, when you’re at a race, stop and see some the teams listed on this page!
Typically we can ship within 2 weeks. The unit will be shipped FedEx Ground and we provide tracking as soon as we have it.
Contact us for any help you need. We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service; something our clients will testify to. You will not be left to fend on your own once you purchase our equipment, in fact we’ll welcome you to the family!
